Scope, sources and privacy

What it answers. Rallybase’s own records: who represents you — in Congress and your statehouse almost everywhere, in your county and city where we have read them; what they’re voting on; the public meetings happening near you this week; where your governments’ money comes from and goes; and the boards you could serve on yourself. Every answer carries the records it used and the date each one was read.

What it does not. Rallybase does not produce civic data, so the assistant can only answer from what we have read — if our records do not hold something, it says so instead of guessing. It takes no position on any bill, candidate or cause, and it will never tell you whether you qualify for a benefit: that is the administering agency’s to decide. What is kept

Rallybase itself keeps no record of what you ask — there is no table of prompts and no log of questions. This conversation lives in this browser tab only: nothing is saved, nothing is shared with another reader, and closing the tab ends it. What you type does go to Google’s Gemini to be answered. The full policy, including what is never sent.

Answers come from Rallybase’s records, with sources shown. AI — may make mistakes. Verify with official sources.

What you type goes to Google's AI. Google keeps prompts for a limited time, and content its abuse systems flag may be reviewed by Google staff. Rallybase sends your question, including any names or addresses you type, and relevant public records, including officials’ names and office contact details. Why.

Standard AI allowance: 40 questions/day without an account, shared by your network subnet; 60/hour signed in. Each question stands alone; earlier turns are not sent. Civic pages remain free when the assistant is unavailable.
