Counting from the database… · raw count (JSON)

Every number below is counted from our database on request, and each carries the date its rows were read. On the map, ink is a county read from its own page, stipple a county read only from a statewide directory, and paper one we have not read yet. A blank is never a zero.

What we have not read

Counting…

We leave these blank rather than guess.

How a row gets in

  1. We read the government’s own page, as an identified reader.
  2. We match each name on it to the office it holds.
  3. An independent review checks the reading against the page.
  4. The owner runs the write to the database.
  5. The change appears on the updates page, with its date.

26 entries are on the updates page so far. Found something wrong? Use — a person reads every one.

Numbers are counted from the database on request; the edge may serve a copy up to an hour old, and the time it was counted is printed beside the title.

The raw count is linked beside the title. Where our sources come from is on the data page.
